Mount Kilimanjaro
The wonderful park shelters the largest free-standing volcanic mass in the world and the highest mountain in Africa, rising 4877m above surrounding plains to 5895m at its peak. With its snow-capped peak, the Kilimanjaro is a superlative unique national park, standing in isolation above the surrounding plains overlooking the savannah.
It has three volcanic cones Mawenzi, Shira, and Kibo. In the hiking mountain of Kilimanjaro, there are almost six routes to be able to reach Uhuru peak which includes the Lemosho route one of the best routes, the Umbwe route which is the most challenging route, Rongai, Marangu, Machame, and Lemosho all to ease the hiking tasks for the tourist and building the tour experience, the best time to visit Kilimanjaro are January to march and June through the end of October since it is the dry season and warmest months clear skies and great view Kilimanjaro is the only iconic and magnificent place you can visit in the world.
Mountain Kilimanjaro is an amazing place to visit as it is the home to wildlife including elephants that can be sited in Tarakia and Namwai rivers, other species includes Buffalos, Colubus monkey, live baboon, antelopes, bushbucks, Maasai giraffe and zebras, leopards, and lions are rarely seen but if you are lucky you can spot them on Shira plateau. Also, mountain Kilimanjaro national park is home to approximately 405 species of birds, making it a bird watcher paradise.
