Lake Manyara
Lake Manyara National Park is well known for the tree climbing lions, the soda ash lake that attracts thousands and pink flamingos, one of Tanzania’s biggest elephant populations, and stunning scenery. Lake Manyara National Park is located in northern Tanzania just 70 km northwest of Tarangire National Park.
Wildlife that is found includes bushbuck, baboons, buffalo, badger, elephants, giraffes, warthogs, zebra, ostrich, and hippos Some of the predator species include African wild cat, African golden cat, bat-eared fox, Cheetah, civet, hyena, jackal, lion, and leopard, and 400 bird species including an abundance of flamingos also refers to as bird watcher heaven creating one breathtaking scenery that tourists should visit in Africa. The best time to visit is from June to October for the best game viewing however Lake Manyara is considered all year round Tanzania destination.

Lake Manyara is a shallow alkaline lake created by a depression within the Great Rift Valley. The lake sits at an elevation of about 3,150 feet. Activities that can be done while visiting Lake Manyara National Park include game drives, tracking the tree climbing lion since of the unique feature found only in Lake Manyara national park, visiting the pink lake with flamingoes as well as a tree-top walk which offers the opportunity to view birds and monkey in the forest.
