Saadani National Park’s coastal location is the perfect place if you want to experience both bush and beach in one destination. Saadani is the only national park on the coast of East Africa. It is where the beach meets the bush – the only wildlife sanctuary in East Africa to boast of an Indian Ocean beachfront making it unique and worth a visit if you want to experience an incredible tour experience.

Saadani is a national park that is often overlooked. Its location is special because it is on the coast. After all, it is the only national park where you can combine an adventure safari with a relaxing stay at beautiful white beaches with many palm trees. It is allowing you to observe wildlife in a unique environment. It offers a variety of landscapes: mangroves, large coral reefs, sea and beach with many palm trees, savannah and cotton field, and wildlife in Saadani national park including four of the Big Five. Although it is very hard to spot them because the numbers are low and the animals are usually hiding. The best period for visits is the dry season February and July are the best driest months with peak temperatures reaching up to 29C. Tourists should visit Saadani as a unique place to get relish palm trees as they sway in a cooling oceanic breeze. Location

Saadani National Park is Tanzania's unique national park in the country bordering a sea it covers an area of 1,062 km². It was officially gazetted in 2005 and is managed under the Tanzania National Parks Authority. The park is located administratively in southeast Pangani District of Tanga Region and northeast Chalinze District of Pwani Region.

Lichtenstein's hartebeest, common waterbucks and bohor reedbucks, blue wildebeests, common and red duikers, Dik-Diks. Others are yellow baboons, vervet and blue sykes monkeys as well as Colobus and White-bearded emperor tamarin monkeys, mongooses, genets, and porcupines. And also greater kudus, elands, sable antelopes, warthogs, hippos, crocodiles, and Nile monitors live in Saadani national park. African bush elephants, lions and leopards, and elephants and several lion pride are inhabitants, together with leopards, spotted hyenas, and black-backed jackals.
